Skip the chaotic forums and sketchy AI output.
Get focused, practical answers from a trusted SLP for just $9/month

If any of these sound like you...

  • "That class was all theory and no application. What am I supposed to do in real life?!"
  • "I spend way too much time digging through notes and online forums and I still can't find the answer I need."
  • "Asking for guidance online or at work stresses me out. I don't want to be torn apart because I'm trying to do better."
  • "I don't know which answer to trust."

Modern MedSLP in Minutes is just what you need.

Modern MedSLP in Minutes isn't your typical SLP membership.

Courses, blogs, textbooks, podcasts, and CEU subscriptions are great.
But they don't cover everything.

Those things don't help you...

  • Digest the information by asking questions well after the course ended
  • Hone your clinical decision-making skills with trusted SLP feedback
  • Bridge the gap between classroom and real life
  • Save time without digging for answers
  • Truly feel safe when asking a question

... Modern MedSLP in Minutes does.

What makes this different:

  • Real clinical expertise you can trust. No AI. No generic responses. No social media arguments. Just thoughtful, SLP-focused questions from experienced clinicians.
  • Searchable library for learning on-the-go. Browse by category or search for specific topics between patients or sitting in traffic.
  • Fast, focused microlearning. Learn from expert input in just minutes, not hours. Perfect for busy SLPs who need reliable guidance without the all-day commitment.
  • Community-driven content. Your questions inspire new content that benefits everyone in the library. We all learn from each other in the real-world, and Modern MedSLP in Minutes reflects that.
  • No overwhelming courses. Just quick responses, like a professional podcast.

Perfect for SLPs & students who want to:

  • Bridge the gap between classroom & real-world clinical skills
  • Hone clinical decision-making skills with trusted expert input
  • Save time without digging for answers
  • Avoid the dumpster fires that tend to arise from social media forums
  • Learn on-the-go with convenient, bite-sized lessons

What this is:

  • A searchable library inspired by your questions
  • Trusted clinician expertise you can access anywhere
  • Quick, targeted learning for busy SLPs
  • A library that grows your skills minutes at a time
  • Convenient, fast, and wildly affordable

What this isn't:

  • Personalized 1:1 consulting
  • A discussion forum or Facebook group
  • Basic information you can Google
  • A replacement for comprehensive courses
  • Medical advice

FAQs & a note from Brooke

Thank you for trusting me as your no-nonsense, no-judgment guide! I look forward to being the expert you can call on when Google doesn't have the answers and when online forums are feeling unfriendly.

  1. To help you help your patients through high-quality, trusted, and at-your-fingertips insights for busy, stressed SLPs
  2. To support you in strengthening your clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
  3. To provide a truly safe environment to seek guidance. Let's face it, asking questions on public forums and social media is a crapshoot: it's impossible to know who to trust, it can feel unfriendly, and it can be a waste of time when all you need is a simple answer.
  4. To give you affordable access to trusted expertise. So many experts aren't approachable, and some charge much higher prices for more questionable support. We're out here to shake things up.

It's simple and quick!

You get immediate access to the microlearning library. The always-growing library allows us to learn from each other's questions. Win-win!

You help to shape your own learning experience when you submit questions.  The video and/or written responses to questions are added to the library at least monthly.

Anyone in SLP/SLT/SP. Students are always welcome to learn from the library, too. But this is a quick-learning program, so it's not the place for basic questions (like "how do I do aphasia therapy") or in-depth topics that are covered in comprehensive courses.

Modern MedSLP in Minutes provides insights that go beyond what can be learned in a classroom or course. The goal is to help clinicians bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Our microlearning program doesn't replace coursework, and SLPs/SPs/SLTs using this service are expected to have at least foundational knowledge in the field. We may occasionally recommend courses in our responses if we feel you could use additional, formal education in a topic area.

Our experts are practicing Medical SLPs with decades of experience caring for adults in medical settings across the continuum. They're active mentors in the SLP world, whether in clinic or online, and are consistently sought out to answer fellow SLPs' clinical questions.

While our experts are highly qualified across diverse patient populations, they serve as primary experts in certain topic areas to give you the best experience possible. As the program continues to grow, so will our core group of vetted experts.

Brooke RichardsonMS, CCC-SLP is the primary expert for the majority of topics.

Chad Richardson, MS, CCC-SLP is the primary expert in laryngectomy / TEP.

Absolutely! You can ask questions at any time that’s convenient for you. We review and respond to questions on a monthly basis, aiming to answer as many as possible and based on the needs of the community. Even if a specific question isn’t addressed directly, our responses to common and impactful questions are added to the microlearning library for ongoing reference.

Responses are always kind and professional. To accommodate different learning styles, responses are provided in both audio/video and written form when appropriate. Some responses may include a resource such as a download, and additional resources are provided when indicated.

Questions not answered each month will remain in the queue. We focus on prioritizing the most common and impactful queries, and these may be added to the library for broader benefit.

Modern MedSLP in Minutes is designed for flexible, asynchronous learning. If you need immediate assistance, we recommend browsing the library, where you'll find quick, practical answers to many common clinical questions. The library is continually updated with new content based on user queries.

For personalized, timely guidance, you may book a private consultation with Brooke.

It's a breeze! You simply ask through your dashboard.

We strive to provide comprehensive support, though some questions may be less likely to receive direct responses. These include:

  • Easily searchable questions: If a question can be quickly answered through a basic internet search or common resources, it may not be prioritized.
  • Questions that appear to be expecting us to do an assignment for you, or a high number of questions submitted in a short time signaling account abuse.
  • Highly specific or complex cases: Questions requiring detailed, personalized guidance may be better suited for a private consultation, as they often involve nuances that are difficult to address in a broad forum. We’ll let you know if your question falls into this category.
  • Questions that take more than 5-10 minutes to answer thoroughly -- the goal is quick learning for you!
  • Repeat or similar questions: If a question has already been thoroughly covered in the library, a direct response may be less likely. However, you’ll always have access to the growing library of answered questions.
  • Questions that fall outside of our areas of expertise (eg, pediatrics).
  • RMT (respiratory muscle training)-specific topics: These are managed through our sister site, Breathehab.

YesPlease note that, for liability purposes, you may not submit questions asked of you by students, or ask questions directly on their behalf.

No. This is designed to provide affordable, high-quality learning for every member we serve. Due to the nature of our program, we can only accept a limited number of members at one time. Members may not share account access with, or ask questions on behalf of, other people.

Nope! The beauty of asynchronous office hours is that you can ask your question any time, and it'll be answered by an expert at the next opportunity. It doesn’t get more convenient than that! Our experts have decades of clinical experience working in the USA healthcare system.

The privacy and security of patients and clients is paramount. You may not ask questions containing any identifying information (PHI).

No. This service is offered for educational purposes only for SLPs/SPs/SLTs; your expertise and licensure are key. When you use this program, you agree to all terms and conditions and release the experts, this website, and the company(ies) associated with this website from liability.
